Clean Jordan Lake Welcomes large group cleanup events at any time during the year.
Corporations and businesses find cleanups a fun way of Team Building while performing community service as do secondary schools, civic organizations, religious organizations, and universities. The minimum group size is 15 for Clean Jordan Lake to supply an onsite leader in addition to trash bags, gloves and trash grabbers. Volunteers must be at least 11 years old. Glaxo Smith Kline, Biogen Idec, Activate Good’s Day of Remembrance, NCSU Service Raleigh Day and Envirothon Club of Margaret Pollard Middle School have returned multiple times. Cisco System, Dell Planet, NC, Syngenta, Pfizer Biotech, Duke Energy, BB&T, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Durham, Triangle YMCA, Troop 951 Boy Scouts, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Hillel at Duke and UNC-CH, and graduae students in Psychology and Neuroscience at the UN-CH are further evidence of far reaching community service.
